Overview

During the 2020 Game Makers Toolkit GameJam I teamed up with 5 of my friends to make a game in 48 hours. The jams theme was "Out of control", from this theme we developed the idea of a game where you play as a Godzilla like monster that dosn't want to destroy the city. However the monster is very large and difficult to control and has a long tail that swings around freely. Destroying buildings stresses the dinosaur out, and if he gets too stressed he will have a Panik Attak, and start running on his own in random directions, making him even harder to control.

I worked as a Game designer and programmer on this project, all of the design and programming work was split between myself and another designer. I worked mostly on implementing the main character controls, movement and animations, as well as the city health system and anxiety meter.
